Fantasy for all – my little bookish Guide

Hello Lovelies,

I often get asked for book recommendations, or my favorite fantasy books, and I always find it so hard to reply when I don’t know the preferences of the asking person. Like someone who is new to fantasy and usually loves romance stories might like a more slowly burning fantasy book with a love interest, while man tend to like High Fantasy more, and I for myself love it bloody. So this is debacle all the time.

Therefore I decided to organize a little book list for you, where I put the fantasy books I know into categories! I think like that everyone might find something they like and everyone will be happy with me. Too ambitious? 😀 I will still try to give you a wholesome list that I’ll try to finalize with the time 🙂

The little (G) behind the books mean, that it was already translated into German, so If you don’t like reading in English you can search for the German copy 🙂

Hallo meine Lieben,

Ich werde richtig oft nach Buchempfehlungen gefragt, oder nach meinen liebsten Fantasy Romanen und finde es dann immer so schwer eine gute Antwort zu geben, ohne zu wissen, was genau die Person eigentlich sonst gerne so liest. Wenn jemand zum Beispiel noch nie Fantasy gelesen hat, eher Liebesromane oder Erotik liebt, dem würde ich natürlich eher ein romantisches Fantasy Buch empfehlen. Wenn aber jemand mehr auf Episches Fantasy oder blutige Bücher steht (so wie ich), dem würde ich wiederum ganz andere Bücher empfehlen. Eine echte Zwickmühle.

Deshalb habe ich diese kleine Fantasy Liste organisiert, in der ich die einzelnen Fantasy Romane in Kategorien unterteilt habe! So kann jeder hingehend zu seinen normalen Präferenzen das nächste Buch finden und hoffentlich glücklich und zufrieden sein 😀 Zu ehrgeizig? Ich versuche trotzdem mein Glück und würde die Liste auch gern gemeinsam mit euch vervollständigen 🙂
