Blog Mas 8: Top 5 Christmas Movies

No matter if they are romantic, funny or thrilling, we all love to watch christmas movies. There are so many of them, all full of that christmas spirit, which makes them so special. Even the bad ones. They can be incredibly cheesy and predictable but as long as it’s set around christmas, that’s totally okay.

Maybe cause it’s connected with a happy memory or maybe cause you just love the story. We all have our favorites for different reasons. Today I want to show you 5 of my personal favorites.

Love Actually

This movie makes me happy. It’s so full of love, showing all different kinds of love and it’s just heartwarming. Every individual story is beautiful and the actors are all amazing. Also, let’s be honest, Hugh Grant’s dancing scene is reason enough to watch this movie!

Christmas Vacation

In my family, it’s impossible to celebrate christmas without watching this movie. I don’t think there has been a year, where we didn’t watch it, yet. I know almost every line by heart and there’s not a single movie out there that screams more childhood to me than this one. Christmas Vacation is so incredibly funny and I can’t wait to watch it again and again and again.

Rise of The Guardians

This movie is everything. It’s currently my most watched christmas movie of 2018. This movie makes you laugh and cry and there is so much love for detail, everytime i watch it, I spot something new. The characters are all so awesome (the sandman is my favorite though, he is so cuteee) and just thinking about the movie makes me want to watch it again

Drei Nüsse für Aschenbrödel

Whether you like it or not, this one’s a must see for every german-speaking person. That’s how it is, sorry, I don’t make the rules. But this Cinderella retelling is full of magic and love and it’s always a joy to watch this fairytale.

The Princess Switch

Remember when I mentioned cheesy and predictable movies in the beginning of this post? Well, this is one of them. The story is not that new, but it’s still so much fun to watch. The characters are all lovable, Vanessa Hudgens is amazing, and it just has become an instant favorite for me.
